Sahil Ramchandani (Rewind) realized his love for music when he used to sit in his parent’s car, listening to his sister’s CDs. From Reggae to Hip-Hop to Desi music, his sister loved it all and it shaped his ability to play any genre with flavor. At age 16, he finally mustered up the courage to ask his Dad, who DJ’ed as a hobby at family parties, if he could toy around with the equipment at home. That led to rocking basement parties to rocking weddings and clubs in New York City. You’ll catch yourself “ooing” and “aahing” to his clever transitions. Put a mic in Sahil’s hand and his voice is one with the music. We call it a perfect matrimony.
