    DISC JOCKEY/MASTER OF CEREMONIES

Growing up half-Indian and half-Jamaican, Josh Rajkumar (JRK)’s exposure to music was multidimensional from a young age. Some of his earliest memories of falling in love with Bollywood and Bhangra music stem from roaming around Jackson Heights with his father and sister while his mother and grandmother spent the afternoon at the beauty parlor. He’ll never forget the feeling of hearing a new remix playing from the store window and wanting so badly to add that mix CD or movie soundtrack to his collection. At the same time, his rides to school were filled with the sounds of DJ Spinbad on Z100, exposing him to the worlds of Hip Hop, Reggaeton, and so much more. With his first set of DJ equipment, his humble beginnings ranged from house parties to graduations and Sweet 16s, which led him to afterparties and a club residency in college. With these 15+ years of experience, he brings his open format finesse and the arsenal of a Club DJ to every wedding.
